Seller was very kind to let me know the sizing is unusual on this dress. We ordered an 8 for my very petite 10yo. So bear in mind, my 10yo is very short and thin for her age — The dress is wide and flowy which fits the style, length is good as is, but the peasant sleeves were falling off and low and creating a low neckline. Another size down might solve it, but instead, I’m just going to open the elastic casing in the sleeves a little, shorten the elastic and sew closed again, thus tightening the sleeves and raising the neckline - that solves the fit issue entirely. The hem is still a great length with this minor modification.
